Winner Of The Paper Plane Competition!
Last week Katrina Beohm Real Estate was proud to support the North Coast National Show. This year we hosted a paper plane flying competition as a fun way of recycling outdated brochures and raising some money for charity. Entrants donated a gold coin and nominated their favourite flood-affected Lismore store and their favourite charity.
The winning distance was 1064 cm right up until Saturday afternoon when Hamish stepped up to the plate. His throw travelled 1478 cm in distance, and he "hit the front". Pictured is Hamish, the winner! Hamish is holding only a replica of the winning plane. His charity of choice is the International Aid Organisation, Caritas. Caritas' motto is “Ending poverty, Promoting Justice and Restoring Dignity”. They will receive all monies donated. The Lismore store Hamish nominated was Toy Kingdom and he has received a $100 gift voucher to spend there as his prize. Hamish has confirmed that he will be back next year to defend his title! Well done, Hamish, we will see you next year!
