John brings a rare combination of 30 years of experience in the Australian macadamia industry, agricultural expertise and first-hand farming experience to his role with Katrina Beohm Real Estate.

A graduate of the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science, John has spent his career managing macadamia orchards and providing agronomic and management advice to growers. He has worked extensively with some of the Australian industry’s key macadamia processors, while his experience has also extended internationally through the provision of specialist macadamia consultancy services.

Over three decades in the industry, John has developed strong relationships across the macadamia sector, including with growers, processors, rural suppliers, machinery manufacturers and other industry professionals.

Importantly, John is also a macadamia grower himself. Owning and operating his own orchard gives him a genuine understanding of the opportunities, challenges and realities of farming and rural property ownership.

Specialising in rural properties and macadamia farms, John brings much more than property knowledge to the sale or purchase of a farm. His extensive industry experience enables him to understand an orchard from both a commercial and agricultural perspective, and to communicate confidently with prospective buyers, existing growers and those looking to enter the industry.
