Ocean Shores is a coastal town in the Northern Rivers located 21km to Byron Bay, between Brunswick Heads and New Brighton. Established in 1969, Ocean Shores has been one of the faster growing suburbs in the area.
There are flora and fauna reserves and the well know Ocean Shores Golf course are a haven for a variety of wildlife, including birds such as cranes, herons, swamp pigeons, kites, goshawks and many others. The town’s lookout has spectacular 360 degree views and is a great spot to view the district.
It is a quiet setting that attracts artists, writers, performers and craftspeople. With its modern shopping centre, medical centre, pharmacy, tavern, restaurants, school and the proximity to the beaches and Brunswick river appeal to all that live here.
