South Golden Beach is a beachside town between the ocean and Yellgun Creek in the Byron Shire. It is just off the Pacific Highway, close to Byron Bay and the Queensland border.
The family-friendly community is relaxed and gathers at Mrs Birdy's Cafe and Corner Store, the playground and skatepark, or the beach, which is patrolled in the summer, and it is great for surfing too. The South Golden Beach Hall is ideal for community events, parties, classes, workshops, or seminars. The weekly farmer markets at New Brighton are within riding distance.
Over the creek is North Ocean Shores, where the pre-school and public schools are.
Close by shopping centres and golf courses are in Ocean Shores and Mullumbimby.
Living at South Holden Beach would be a lovely lifestyle with salt water, sand, and surf.
